Building a referral-navigation team from the ground up
Retained / RPOA value-based care organization needed to stand up an entire clinical function — a new team, a new workflow, and a hiring timeline that left no room for mis-hires. Operating as an extension of their hiring team, MedCentric managed sourcing, structured clinical screening, and pipeline reporting end to end, presenting only candidates who matched both the clinical bar and the cultural one. The cohort was filled on schedule with excellent results, and the client returned to scope a second cohort a short time later.
Launching a new market
Retained SearchAn emerging value-based organization was entering a new state and needed clinical leadership and frontline providers in place before the market opened. Because the search was retained, MedCentric's incentives were aligned from day one: we were not racing a competing firm to a fee, but building the team the launch depended on. The result was a clinical bench assembled ahead of go-live in a market where the organization had no prior presence.
Sustained physician placement at scale
Contingency, at depthThrough a multi-year relationship with a national home-based medical group, MedCentric placed more than one hundred Physicians and Advanced-Practice Clinicians into a model that lived or died on the quality of its providers. The placements were not one-off transactions; they were the product of a network that let us match the right clinician to the right panel, again and again.
In several markets, sourcing alone was not enough. The model was new, and clinicians had to be introduced to it before they would consider the move — so MedCentric brought the model to them. We organized recruiting events we called Meet and Greets: an evening at a well-regarded restaurant where the group's Chief Medical Officer and Regional Medical Officers could meet local Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants over dinner. We handled the invitations, the RSVPs, and the venue; the client's team simply showed up and shook hands. Those evenings did more than fill roles — they introduced a new model of care to each market we entered.

Over a multi-year relationship with a national home-based medical group, MedCentric helped extend the organization into seventeen new markets where its model had never existed — a full clinical team of Physicians, Advanced-Practice Providers, Behavioral Health Specialists, and Social Workers, delivering care to the sickest patients in their own homes. We placed more than one hundred clinicians into that model. The organization was later acquired by one of the nation's largest health insurers at a valuation of roughly $3.5 billion.
